INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

The university puts co-operation with:
- Memorial Newfoundland University - Canada:training workers on the Primary Health care.
- HAN University – The Netherlands: training teachers and students for medical technical fields.
- Queensland University of Technology - Australia: training nursing teachers - distance training.
- National College of Nursing - Japan: exchanging students. From July, 2010, NCN will send 100 students/ year to attend International Nursing Practicum at the HMTU


The univesity has been set up relationship with international organizations :
-The World Health Organization
- LATTITUD Organization: Providing volunteer teachers to teach English for faculties and students of the university.
-Health Volunteer Overseas (HVO)
Participating in implementing some projects:
- Project on training staff on Primary Health Care for 45 communes in Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Hai Phong (Viet Nam - Canada)
- Health System Development Project : Training faculty and strengthening equipment for training medical technician (Viet Nam - EC)
- Project on improving the quality of nurse training at university and college levels in Viet Nam (Viet Nam - Netherlands)
- Teaching competence enhancement project at Medical College and Secondary(Viet Nam - Netherlands) Many teachers were sent abroad for training and learning, such as to: Canada,
Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Thailand, Australia...
